Karen Yelder-Beard became agency owner of the AAA Karen Yelder- Beard Insurance Agency in October 2015, after retiring as an employee sales agent from the Auto Club of Michigan after more than 35 years of service.

“Most people think insurance is a boring profession” says Karen, "but I love educating clients on the topic and teaching them how to protect themselves and their investments.

When Karen is not assisting clients, she is regularly giving back to the community.  She has been a Chamber Ambassador for over 3 years and graduated with the Leadership Greater Rochester class of 2017.  Karen has also served on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Troy for over 15 years.  Karen is a ministry leader at her church and volunteers with the Detroit RiverfrontCconservancy.   
When Karen has down-time, she enjoys her family and friends, traveling, and her two terrier pups!
