SUMMARY:Fundraiser at Grand Traverse Pie Company
DESCRIPTION:Hungry for a good cause? Grand Traverse Pie Company is hosting a fundraising night to benefit Neighborhood House on May 23 from 4-8p.m. A portion of all proceeds will benefit Neighborhood House\, a local nonprofit serving families and individuals in need in Rochester\, Rochester Hills\, Auburn Hills\, Oakland Township and Addison Township. \n\n\n\nCome for the pie but stay for the great food\, including savory pot pies\, quiche and pasties at Grand Traverse Pie Company that evening and support local neighbors in need. Pie is made for sharing\, so invite your friends and family and enjoy sharing as the community joins together to give back. "We strive to be a well respected Michigan brand helping to develop strong PIE communities that are compassionate\, resilient and mindful" said Mike Busley\, co-founder of Grand Traverse Pie Company. "We are very pleased to be supporting the Neighborhood House\, who does so much to help our local families\, that's the Power of Pie."\n\n\n\nGrand Traverse Pie Company has embraced the Neighborhood House since they opened their Rochester Hills location in 2016. When the restaurant changed its menu\, items and essential baking ingredients were donated to the Neighborhood House Food Pantry to support local hungry families. Similarly\, the Food Pantry received holiday pie donations. What a surprise it was for families in need visiting the pantry to receive a delicious holiday pie for their family.\n\n\n\n"Our community's generosity is what sustains our organization\," said Natalie Reilly-Finch\, Fund Development Manager. "We hope to have a great turn out in support of those in need in our community\, and who doesn't love pie?! The more guests who come that evening\, the more proceeds will be donated back to Neighborhood House."\n\n\n\nGrand Traverse Pie Company is located at 6920 N. Rochester Road in the Papa Joe's Plaza. Neighborhood House fundraising hours are from 4-8pm on May 23. Proceeds from every purchase that evening will go directly to Neighborhood House.
