Rochester, MI – The Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce congratulates all recipients of the 2021 Sunrise Pinnacle Awards, with Presenting Partner by PNC Bank. Fifteen community leaders were recognized in either the Business, Chamber, or Community award category.

Lifetime Achievement Award sponsored by First State Bank, Awarded to Garth Pleasant of Rochester University In 1977, Garth was hired as an instructor of Health, Physical & Recreation at Rochester University. Besides holding faculty status, he served as the men's basketball coach for 38 years. Garth views Rochester University is his ministry and positively engages in the lives of so many young people. Whether teaching in the classroom or on the court, Garth imparts life lessons and wisdom to many young people.
