\n\nIn 1852\, Dexter Mason Ferry moved to Detroit with plans to attend college and began a night job as a bookkeeper for a small seed house. Four years later he became a partner in the firm. Hear the fascinating story of this experimental company\, how its seeds helped a nurse in WWII\, and what sits in its original footprint today. Chef Deb of Silver Shamrocks will use photographs and seed packets as inspiration to put a modern twist on local fruits and vegetables from the 1900s.
