DESCRIPTION:Rochester Community Concert Band presents \n\n'Musician's Favorites'\n\n \n\nROCHESTER HILLS\, MI. In its third concert of the season\, the Rochester Community Concert Band\, conducted by Paul F. DeRubeis\, will present 'Musician's Favorites' on Tuesday\, February 27\, 2024\, at 7:30 p.m. in the Stoney Creek High School Auditorium\, 6755 Sheldon Road\, Rochester Hills\, 48306. The concert is open to the public and admission is free. Donations are gratefully accepted and appreciated. \n\n \n\nFeatured at the concert will be Dr. Amanda Ross\, Visiting Professor of Trumpet\, Oakland University performing "Fantasie Brillante" by Jean-Baptiste Arban.  \n\n \n\nWe also welcome to the podium RCCB members Natalie Debusschure who will conduct "Festive Overture" by Dmitri Shostakovich and Bridgette Tepper conducting Gustav Holst's "Second Suite for Military Band". \n\n \n\nBack to perform "Bugler's Holiday" by Leroy Anderson are RCCB trumpeters Alex Floury\, Bridgette Tepper and Rob Roy. \n\n \n\nOther selections to be performed include: "Baba Yetu" by Christopher Tin from the video game Civilization IV\, "Sinatra!" a medley of his most popular songs arranged by Stephen Bulla\, and in honor of our hometown team\, "Gridiron Heroes" Fight Song of the Detroit Lions. \n\n \n\nFor more information\, visit our website RochesterCommunityConcertBand.org\, email the RCCB at RochesterCommunityConcertBand@gmail.com or phone 248.462.9043\n\n \n\nAbout Rochester Community Concert Band\n\nThe 85 member all volunteer Rochester Community Concert Band is conducted by Paul F.
