DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Chamber's Member Conference Call via Zoom. Bi-weekly calls feature updates from the Federal\, State\, and Local levels. \n\n\n\nThis update will be provided by Oakland County's Deputy Executive\, Sean Carlson. Mr. Carlson oversees the offices of Management & Budget\, Information Technology\, and Economic Development. \n\n\n\nHe will provide an overview of programs and resources the County has made available to businesses since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and highlight the economic outlook as reported in the County's 35th Annual Economic Outlook Forecast. In this position he was a key architect of Michigan's "Protect & Grow" strategy to attract Department of Defense missions\, to improve the aerospace and defense industry\, and to assist small businesses in diversifying into the defense industry. He also served as vice president of the international trade program at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
