ROCHESTER HILLS\, MI.\, February 18 \;&mdash\; \;The Rochester Community \;Concert Band will present \;&lsquo\;Resound!&rsquo\; \;on Tuesday\, \;March 15th\, at 7:30 p.m. in \;St. Paul&rsquo\;s United Methodist Church\, 620 Romeo Road\, Rochester\, 48307. This concert is rescheduled from March 1st. \;The concert is open to the public and admission is free. Donations are gratefully accepted. \;
\n\nFeatured at the concert will be Bass Trombone Soloist\, Avery Wolf\, performing the \;first movement of the Eric \;Ewazen \;&ldquo\;Concerto for Bass Trombone and Band&rdquo\;\, \;the World Premiere \;of &ldquo\;Resound&rdquo\; by Dr. Nicole \;Piunno\, commissioned to celebrate \;the band&rsquo\;s \;Fifth \;Anniversary\, \;and Guest Conductor Robert Ambrose\, Retired Director of Bands\, Bloomfield Hills High School\, \;who will \;conduct \;the band in the moving arrangement of &ldquo\;Elsa&rsquo\;s Procession to the Cathedral&rdquo\; from the Opera \;Lohengrin \;by Richard Wagner.
\n\nOther selections to be performed include: \;American Overture&rdquo\; by \;Joseph Jenkins\, \;&ldquo\;Music of Disneyland&rdquo\; arranged by Jerry Brubaker\, &ldquo\;Carnaval \;in Sao Paulo&rdquo\; by James Barnes\, &ldquo\;Radetzky March&rdquo\; by Johann Strauss and the beautiful &ldquo\;Nimrod&rdquo\; from Enigma Variations by Edward Elgar\, arranged by Alfred Reed. \;

\nAbout Rochester Community Concert Band
The 70-member all volunteer Rochester Community Concert Band is conducted by Paul F. DeRubeis and includes adult community members and advanced high school students from greater Rochester and Rochester \;Hills. \;The band also \;welcomes \;new members in the clarinet\, bassoon\, \;french \;horn\, \;euphonium \;and tubas \;sections. The RCCB is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt organization\; donations are accepted and greatly appreciated. \;
