DESCRIPTION:The Rochester Symphony Orchestra is excited to invite you to "Pops in the Park\," a highlight of the 2025 Kiwanis Club's Music in the Park series! This family-oriented program has something for everyone.\n\n\n\nJoin us on Thursday\, July 31st\, at 7 PM in Rochester Municipal Park for an unforgettable evening of delightful music. Immerse yourself in popular tunes\, movie music\, and lively classical favorites like Tchaikovsky's "Capriccio Italien\," along with the enchanting "Serenata" by Leroy Anderson.\n\n\n\nSoprano Kristy Barnes will set the tone by performing the National Anthem to kick off the event. The orchestra will also pay tribute to all branches of the military with the Armed Forces Salute.\n\n\n\nTo wrap up the evening\, enjoy the energetic march\, "The Fairest of the Fair\," by John Philip Sousa. If rain interrupts our outdoor festivities\, we will seamlessly transition to St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Rochester.\n\n\n\nDo not miss this wonderful community event\, "Pops in the Park\," at Rochester Municipal Park\, located at 400 6th Street\, Rochester\, Michigan\, on Thursday\, July 31st\, at 7:00 PM.
