DESCRIPTION:Join us as we anticipate and celebrate the premier of the Downton Abbey movie! Daniel Moen\, tea connoisseur\, will give a small history lesson on tea during that time\, he will discuss the difference between High Tea and Low Tea\, and the etiquettes of that era and what was considered "proper" behavior for upper class and servants. We will then dine on the following items\, all made in house:\n\n\n\n- A cup of Royal Cheddar Potato Soup\n\n- Tea Sandwiches: Ham & Aged Cheddar on Rye\, Cucumber with Cream Cheese on White\, and Poached Chicken Curry\n\n-Sweets: Lemon Curd in an Earl Grey Tart Shell\, Chocolate Raspberry Torte\, and Pear Upside Down Cake\, Fresh Fruit\n\n- Traditional English Style Scone with Devonshire Cr me\, honey and jam\n\n\n\nWe will then take a promenade walk through town\, showing off our Victorian outfits. Early comers will pay $40 per person\, plus sales tax\, processing fee and gratuity before 9/7. After 9/7 tickets are $45 per person\, plus sales tax\, fees and gratuity. Sign up now\, seating is limited to 35 people! Food allergies/preferences will not be accommodated for this event.
