RRC Foundation Announces Mr. Tim Crawford as 2023 Grand Marshal for the annual Rochester Area Hometown Christmas Parade
 



The Rochester Regional Chamber Foundation (RRCF) is pleased to announce Mr. Tim Crawford as the 2023 Grand Marshal for the annual Rochester Area Hometown Christmas Parade, with new presenting sponsors Genisys Credit Union & Serra Buick Ford GMC. Grand Marshals are selected based on a person’s involvement and investment in our community.

“It is an unbelievable experience to be named the 2023 Grand Marshal. This honor goes out to the parade committee, the Rochester Regional Chamber, my family, and of course the phenomenal community that we all have a passion for and enjoy supporting.  Without everyone above, I would not have had the energy, resources, or determination to serve!” said Crawford.

He adds, “Chairing the parade for more than twenty years, I can honestly say every Grand Marshal before me has certainly made a significant contribution to our community and Chamber of Commerce! I am thrilled to be associated with each and every one of them and like those before me will continue to support our community for years to come!”

About Tim Crawford
Tim is the President of The Crawford Insurance Group, established in 2001. Tim has built a foundation on providing comprehensive insurance solutions by taking a proactive approach with professional service and a high degree of integrity.

Throughout his career, Tim has earned recognition for his outstanding achievements, including receiving multiple awards from Nationwide Insurance. One of his most prestigious accolades was being honored with the Sunrise Pinnacle Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014, a testament to his exceptional dedication and expertise in the insurance field and his contributions here in the community. Tim is the recipient of the Nationwide Corporate Community Service Award, Nationwide President Award, Nationwide Champions Award and Michigan MVP in 2011, 2012, 2014 & 2015. Tim was honored with the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce Lifetime Achievement Award, Jefferson Award for Public Service celebrating outstanding work in local communities and BSA NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award and Silver Beaver Award.
 
Not only is he a distinguished leader within insurance, but Mr. Crawford is also a generous individual committed to helping his community. 
 
Beyond his professional success, Mr. Crawford is a true community champion. He generously devotes his time and efforts to various nonprofit organizations, exemplifying his commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others. He serves on numerous nonprofit boards, including the Rochester Regional Chamber board, where his leadership and expertise continue to make a difference. He believes in giving back to the community by staying involved in the Rochester Christmas Parade, Rochester Rotary, and several other charitable organizations.

One of Tim’s most noteworthy roles has been serving as the chair of the Rochester Area Hometown Christmas Parade for over 20 years. Under his guidance, this beloved event has grown and thrived, bringing joy and festive spirit to the community during the holiday season!
 
Recognizing the contributions of all those who make events like the parade possible is essential. It reflects the true spirit of community and highlights the collaborative effort that goes into creating such a festive and memorable experience for everyone involved. The Grand Marshal Gala will be a remarkable evening filled with gratitude and appreciation for the hard work and dedication of these outstanding contributors.
