Under the masterful guidance of our talented Conductor and Music Director, Maestro Zeljko Milicevic, join us for an enchanting evening on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. The event will be held at the beautiful St. Paul's United Methodist Church, located at 620 Romeo Road, Rochester, Michigan.
CULTURAL INFUSION lives up to its name, promising a diverse array of musical offerings that are sure to captivate every audience member.
The concert will open with "Finlandia," a stirring symphonic poem composed by the illustrious Finnish composer, Jean Sibelius, originally created around 1900.
Next, we are excited to feature the phenomenal talent of thirteen-year-old cellist Cameron Renshaw, the winner of the 2025 Young Artist Competition. His deeply expressive performances reveal musicality well beyond his years.
Continuing the evening, we will be treated to the masterful compositions of Aaron Copland, a titan among American classical composers whose works resonate with an unmistakable American spirit.
Additionally, we will experience the exuberance of Morton Gould's "American Salute," a captivating piece based on the beloved patriotic tune "When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again."
We are also excited to welcome the incredible Terry Lower Trio, featuring the talented vocalist Edye Evans Hyde. Over the past four decades, they have collaboratively shared an eclectic range of musical experiences, from intimate jazz settings to grand symphony performances and vibrant jazz festivals.
