Join the Young Professionals, sponsored by Chief Financial Credit Union, for an informative presentation on "Workplace Violence: Plan, Prevent, Prepare" in the Conference Room at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

Join Shane Davis, Lead Consultant with Secure Education Consultants, as he presents an up-close look into a workplace homicide SEC responded to, the lessons learned and the steps put in place to help prevent a similar tragedy.

Participants will learn about the safety and security gaps identified post-incident and how meaningful changes were made both immediately and long term. Participants also will gain a deep understanding of the impact workplace violence can have on an organization on both culture and continuity of operations – and why preparedness is non-negotiable when it comes to minimizing the trauma experienced by employees as well as business interruptions.
