About Us

Common Ground is a nonprofit agency dedicated to helping people in Michigan move from crisis to hope by responding to crisis, providing safety and advocacy, and building communities of support. Through the agency’s 24-hour resource and crisis helpline (1-800-231-1127), youth and family services, emergency psychiatric services and other programs Common Ground serves as a lifeline for victims of crime, persons with mental illness, people trying to cope with critical situations and runaway and homeless youths. With most of our services offered free of charge.
