About Us

Jim Weaver has been in the insurance industry for the past six years, following a successful 22-year career with AT&T as a Technical Sales Consultant, along with prior experience as an insurance underwriter. He also spent five years as an agency owner before joining Royal Oath Insurance, where he continues to serve clients with a consultative and relationship-driven approach. Jim holds licenses in Property & Casualty and Life Insurance and is a proud veteran of the United States Army Reserves, where he served for six years from 1992 to 1998.

At his core, Jim is a consultant. He approaches every client interaction from a place of contribution first. He is passionate about helping clients understand their coverage and ensuring they are properly protected: not just today, but for the future. His philosophy is simple: Do what is best for the client, always. His personal motto, “Insuring your dreams today, ensuring their tomorrow,” reflects his commitment to long-term protection and peace of mind.

Known for keeping conversations lighthearted, Jim can often be found quoting a movie line on the fly while building meaningful relationships with clients and partners.

Outside of work, Jim is married to his incredible wife of 4 years, Donna, and is the proud father of high school senior triplets, Farrah, Alex, and Easton, who are passionate hockey players with aspirations of playing at the collegiate level. After 26 years of coaching youth hockey, Jim recently retired his whistle and looks forward to traveling with Donna, as their children begin the next chapter of their lives. He is also a proud stepfather to Brittan, a first-year medical student at the University of Iowa, and Carson, a University of Iowa graduate too, working in wealth management in Chicago.
