I have been interested and involved in photography for over 4 decades. Isn’t that a frightening thought!

For me photography is a way to deeply experience the beauty found all around us. From very simple aspects of daily life to the grandeur of our National Parks, I enjoy making photographs that give others a window into how I experience the world.

After choosing the Chrysler buyout in November of 2008, my wife and I decided to take the plunge and open a fulltime photography studio. We figure if we can make it work here in Michigan during these trying times, then we’d like to stay and enjoy everything that Michigan has to offer. As we enter our 4th year in business, we are highly encouraged both by the success of our business and the resiliency of Michiganders.

I pride myself on taking portraits that capture the essence of the person. I don't accept ''cheese'' smiles, I want to see real emotion, be it in a headshot or Senior Portrait. Photos should connect you with the person.
