Harmony in the Hills Presents "Octoberfest" 
Featuring: Marimba Artist Justin Lamb, DSO Member String Quartet & Pianist Seung Hee Cho

St. Paul's United Methodist Church's Harmony in the Hills Concert Series will present "Octoberfest", a seasonal concert Friday, October 17 at 7 p.m. at 620 Romeo Street, Rochester, MI in the Sanctuary. Renowned marimba artist Justin Lamb, a string quartet comprised of Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) members violinists Eun Park Lee and Rachel Klaus, violist Mike Chen, and cellist Jeremy Crosmer, and pianist St. Paul's United Methodist Church's own Dr. Seung Hee Cho will perform autumn favorites and some special Halloween treats. Admission is free. Free-will donations are appreciated.

Justin Lamb is an active performer, educator, composer and arranger based in the metro-Detroit area, currently serving as Visiting Professor of Music and the Percussion Area Coordinator at Oakland University. Lamb is committed to contemporary music and performance. He has premiered works for percussion by composers including Paul Lansky, John Psathas, Michael Burritt and more. Lamb is sought as a commissioner of new works and has led and organized international consortiums. An alumna of the prestigious Eastman School of Music, he is also a passionate educator for teaching young percussionists. 

Harmony in the Hills Concert Series is offered by St Paul's United Methodist Church and features the finest local and international talent in classical, jazz and gospel music. Concerts are heled throughout the year on various days and at different times to allow more patrons the opportunity to attend. Ticket costs are nominal and sometimes a free-will donation. Harmony in the Hills is under the artistic direction of Director of Music Dr. Seung Hee Cho.
