The event, which is open to the public, will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Rochester Hills Museum.
The evening includes Kentucky Derby themed food, mint juleps and live entertainment. Additionally, there will be the “Win, Place, Show” Derby Race Raffle and prizes will be awarded for the “Best Hat” and “Best Blazer”
From arrival time, until race time, guests can place their “bets” on their favorite horse with the “Win, Place, Show” Derby Race Raffle. Followed, just after 6:00 p.m., with the viewing of the 142nd Kentucky Derby as well as the announcement of the Derby Race Raffle Winner!
Silent auction items, donated from local businesses, will include a private tour of the Hazel Park Raceway, VIP wine tastings in Traverse City and much more!

The event will be chaired this year by Rochester Juniors club members Chrisite Pipkin-Holzer, Lori Wilson, and Kate DiLiddo.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Dutton Farm, Inc., Paint a Miracle and the Rochester Area Neighborhood House. The event sponsors include Platinum Sponsor - Chief Financial Credit Union and Bronze Sponsor - Potere -Modetz Funeral Home.
Individual tickets for the event are $85.00 per person and Patron tickets are $100.00 per person with recognition in the program; food, beer, wine and liquor are included.
