Nicole CondonRibbon Cutting Celebrating "Petite Creek", the Free Little Art Gallery at Paint Creek Center for the Arts
Join us at the Ribbon Cutting celebration of "Petite Creek" the Free Little Art Gallery at the Paint Creek Center for the Arts!
The "Petite Creek" opened May 15, 2025. The creation of the gallery was directed by PCCA’s Manager of Artist Engagement, Julia Felts in coordination with PCCA’s Marketing & Engagement Coordinator, Hunter Parsons, who assisted her Dad, Steve Parsons, in hand-crafting and installing the gallery. PCCA’s Art Education team, Catherine Brieden and Marigrace Francis, collaborated on the exterior painting.
This gallery exists to promote art accessibility, spark creativity at all skill levels, and connect our community through artistic exchange. If you see something in the gallery you like, take it home! Or, create something you want to share, and leave it for someone else to take away and love.
A Free Little Art Gallery — “FLAG” for short — is an international community project encouraging everyone to create and share art. All information regarding the FLAG movement can be found at: https://freelittleartgalleries.art/
PCCA’s FLAG can be found on their map: https://freelittleartgalleries.art/map/
The name “Petite Creek” was decided via a social media poll where PCCA followers submitted and voted for their favorite name for the FLAG. Other name considerations were Apple Blossom Gallery, Gallery for Bugs, Worm Gallery, and simply PCCA’s FLAG.
