RRC Hosts Discussion With Local Businesses

Chamber President Alaina Campbell gets a thumbs up from the SBA’s Region V Administrator Rob Scott for all the hard work our Chamber has done to advocate on behalf of our businesses.

On Friday, September 4, Rochester Regional Chamber President Alaina Campbell had the opportunity to host the SBA’s Region V administrator Robert Scott along with US Representative Elissa Slotkin at a roundtable discussion. This small group discussion focused on the effectiveness of the SBA’s EIDL (Economic Injury Disaster Loan) and PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) programs and highlighted issues our businesses are facing going forward this fall and into 2021.

Chamber members were represented by Marilyn Trent, Chamber Vice Chair and owner of Trent Creative, Vince Mattina, Chamber Treasurer and partner at Mattina, Kent & Gibbons; Tonia Carsten, Tonia’s Victorian Tea Room; Frank Rewold, Rewold & Sons and the Royal Park Hotel; Matt Moore, Johnny Blacks Public House; and Josh Barney, JJ Barney Construction.

Please share your thoughts and input as we continue to advocate on behalf of businesses by emailing Alaina Campbell at alainac@rrc-mi.com.
