‘Ring Them Bells!’
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., Nov. 8 — The Rochester Community Concert Band will present their ‘Ring Them Bells’ concert on Tuesday, December 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Stoney Creek High School Auditorium, 6755 Sheldon Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48306. The concert is open to the public and free to attend. Donations are gratefully accepted and appreciated.
The RCCB will be joined by the hand bell choirs “Reveille Ringers” from St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church, directed by Bob Sheldrick and the “Wesley Ringers” from St. Paul United Methodist Church, directed by Al Fisk.
Music to be performed include, “Festival Fanfare for Christmas” by John Wasson, “O Magnum Mysterium” by Morten Lauridsen, “Jingle Them Bells” by Julie Giroux, “Carols of the Nativity” arr. by Dan Edwards, “Here Comes Santa Claus” arranged by Douglas Wagner, “Silent Night” arranged by Al Fisk, “Now The Green Blade Riseth” arranged by Kevin McChesney and “Sleigh Ride” by Leroy Anderson.
The RCCB will join with both bell choirs to perform “Let There Be Peace on Earth” and “Christmas Bells Overture” arranged by Douglas Wagner.
The RCCB also welcomes guest conductor Sarah Bussineau who will lead the band in “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” by Larry Clark.
Santa Claus will also make a special appearance and will be available for pictures following the concert.

About Rochester Community Concert Band
The 85-member all volunteer Rochester Community Concert Band is conducted by Paul F. DeRubeis and includes adult community members and advanced high school students from greater Rochester and Rochester Hills as well as students from Macomb Community College. The RCCB is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt organization; donations are accepted and greatly appreciated.
