The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm is proudly celebrating its 45th anniversary this year! The Museum is open to the public for weekly Drop-In Hours every Friday and Saturday from 12-3pm. A guided tour of the 1840 Van Hoosen Farmhouse leaves from the Dairy Barn at 1pm, followed by a look inside the Red House. Included with your admission is a self-paced, interactive look at our community’s local history. You will meet the Taylor-Van Hoosen families, check out Mastodon bones, enjoy a wide variety of local videos from our ski jump to our award-winning PBS movie and numerous computer interactives, as well as peruse local books in the Museum’s store.
