Michael Dwyer is the founder of Rochester Writers, supporting new writers, working journalists, and published authors through networking, workshops, and conferences. He provides opportunities for the writing community to take their projects to the next level - from publication to promotion.

Michael is also a freelance writer, editor, and is the publisher for Rochester Media, an online publication for Rochester, Rochester Hills, and Oakland Township. He has published hundreds of articles in local newspapers, national print magazines, and online news outlets. He captures moments and tells the story with conversational prose, encouraging readers to explore, engage, and experience.

Sonya Julie is a passionate believer in creative growth and loves helping people to reach their goals. She has a Bachelor of Business, two associate degrees, and years of professional development. Sonya especially enjoys web design, graphic art, content creation, and photography. She also enjoys working with entrepreneurs to provide guidance in regard to goal setting, marketing, and business development. Previous to starting her own company in 2017 she worked in banking and finance for 15 years.

 Andrea Walker-Leidy is the creative force behind Walker Publicity and host of the “It’s Not Just A Tuesday” podcast. Born and raised in SE Michigan, Andrea proudly identifies as a true Suburban Detroiter with a Midwest vibe and work ethic. She founded Walker Publicity in 2015, based on the belief that everyone has a unique story to share, and these stories are what make businesses successful. Andrea’s journey began in journalism as a writer and editor. Her experiences inspired her to partner with businesses to create strategic communications plans that capture the attention of the media, social media audiences, and potential clients. With a deep love for nonprofit work, Andrea connects nonprofit initiatives with local media through Walker Publicity and Michigan Nonprofit PR.

I am an engineer turned entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience building software systems — first for the automotive industry, and now for the small businesses that power the US economy. My work started with a simple question: how do I develop real teamwork skills in my son? That question led me to design collaborative learning games for schools, which eventually became a consulting practice, which became a technology company. Today, Linnet LLC builds the operational and human tools that help small businesses run better, solve problems together, and grow as a team.
