Administrative Assistant

For more than 30 years, J. Thomas Jewelers has been helping customers celebrate life's most meaningful moments. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our daily operations and help ensure an exceptional experience for our customers and team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, accuracy, and variety in their workday. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in inventory management, shipping and receiving, customer service, and office administration.
 

Schedule

· Tuesday–Friday

· 24–30 hours per week

· Occasional Saturdays

· Closed Sundays and Mondays
 

Responsibilities

· Enter and maintain inventory records.

· Process incoming shipments and vendor returns.

· Match merchandise to purchase orders, special orders, and repairs.

· Process Montage Jewelry Protection claims.

· Answer phones and assist customers.

· Order office supplies and perform general administrative duties.


Qualifications

· Administrative, retail, or customer service experience preferred.

· Strong organizational and computer skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Positive attitude, willingness to learn


Compensation

Salary negotiable based on experience.
