Local Business Connector (Independent Contractor – 1099) (Interns & Community Connectors Encouraged)
Metro Trading Association (MTA), established in 1978, is the oldest trade association in the Great Lakes Region. We help businesses increase sales and preserve cash by allowing them to trade goods and services within a trusted local and national barter network.
We are currently expanding and looking for Local Business Connectors to help introduce business owners to MTA throughout Southeast Michigan and the Toledo, Ohio area.
This is a flexible, relationship-driven, independent contractor (1099) opportunity. It is ideal for business owners, entrepreneurs, interns, sales or marketing professionals, and anyone who enjoys networking and meeting local businesses.
No degree required. No prior sales or barter experience required. Training and support provided.
What you’ll do:
This role provides a legitimate, professional reason to meet and build relationships with local business owners, while expanding your network and earning income.
Compensation includes both cash and trade incentives, with no cap on signups.
