Bear Hug Invites Community to Sponsor Annual Wine Dinner Supporting Children and First Responders

Bear Hug, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children in crisis and strengthening the mental health of first responders, is inviting local businesses and community partners to become sponsors of its upcoming Annual Wine Dinner, taking place on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at Fogo de Chão in Troy. 

This highly anticipated event brings together community leaders, businesses, and supporters for an evening of connection, philanthropy, and impact, all in support of Bear Hug’s mission.

Bear Hug is committed to offering comfort and solace to children experiencing trauma by equipping first responders with teddy bears and other soothing items to distribute during emergencies. In addition, the organization champions the mental health and resilience of first responders, recognizing their vital role in maintaining safe and healthy communities.
