Downtown Rochester Takes Center Stage with Rochester Posed: Broadway Edition
ROCHESTER, Mich. – September 3, 2024 – Downtown Rochester is excited to announce the return of one of its most anticipated annual events, Rochester Posed! This year, we're rolling out the red carpet with a theme that’s sure to steal the spotlight: "Broadway." Local businesses will transform their storefronts into live mannequin displays, bringing the magic of Broadway to life in the heart of our city. The event promises an evening of entertainment, creativity, and community engagement.
Scheduled for Thursday, October 3, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Rochester Posed will feature over 18 businesses and community volunteers that have accepted the challenge to take the stage to showcase their artistic flair. Each window display will capture iconic Broadway shows, creating a vibrant and theatrical streetscape that will captivate residents and visitors alike. Each window will remain a “surprise” until the unveiling at 7:00 pm.
The event invites the public to enjoy a night of shopping, dining, & taking in the live mannequin displays while engaging in an exciting voting process. Once again, the public will vote for their favorite live mannequin display. Specific details will be listed at each of the participating locations. Text-to-vote will be available from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The top three winning windows from each category (People’s Choice & Judges’ Choice) will be announced on Friday, October 4.
