Harmony in the Hills Presents the Magic of ‘Paradise Harmonies’

Rochester, MI —This Spring, the Harmony in the Hills Concert Series invites audiences to an intimate evening of music with Paradis Harmonies, a chamber concert that bridges classical elegance with the warmth and swing of jazz. The performance features Jeremy Crosmer (cello), Alyssa Katahara (harp), and Triniti Rives (clarinet), all members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. The concert takes place on Friday, April 17, at 7 p.m. in the St. Paul’s United Methodist Church Sanctuary, located at 620 Romeo Street, Rochester, MI. Admission is free, but free-will donations are gratefully accepted.

Audiences can look forward to timeless favorites such as “Moon River,” “Misty,” and “Fly Me to the Moon,” as well as Crosmer’s original composition, Paradise Harmonies. The trios performance promises to be both lush and playful, blending the precision of classical technique with the spontaneity of jazz.

The performers include:

• Jeremy Crosmer (Cello) - A celebrated DSO cellist and Composer, Crosmer is known for his creativity, commitment to community projects and efforts to champion music by underrepresented composers.
• Alyssa Katahara (Harp) - Principal Harp of the DSO, Katahara has graced stages with the Chicago and Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestras and Los Angeles Opera, bringing a lyrical voice to every performance.
• Triniti Rives (Clarinet) - An African American Orchestra Fellow with the DSO, Rives is passionate about chamber music and performing by living works by living and diverse composers, often engaging communities through music education initiatives.
