Rochester, MI. The Harmony in the Hills Concert Series presents an evening of patriotic and other selections performed by the wind quintet, Winthrop Winds. The concert takes place on Wednesday, July 1 at 7 p.m. outside in the St. Paul ’s United Methodist Church Garden of Hope , located at 620 Romeo Street, Rochester, MI. Free admission. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on and join the fun! In the event of inclement weather the concert will take place in the Sanctuary.

The winds ensemble formed in 2007 features Linda Borushko, clarinet, Sharon Oblin, flute, Nina Flanigan, bassoon, Marie Weber, oboe, and Carl Weber, French horn. The combination of instruments will create a wide range of tonal colors and textures as the musicians perform The American Suite, Colonial Days, America, Gershwin ’s Walking the Dog, Stars & Stripes Forever and more. 

Offered by St. Paul ’s United Methodist Church, the Harmony in the Hills Concert Series presents the finest national and international talent in classical, jazz and gospel music throughout the year. Under the artistic direction of Dr. Seung Hee Cho, Director of Music, the series offers performances on various days and times to welcome a broad audience.
