The Rochester Regional Optimist Club (RROC) gathers from 7-8 pm on the 1^st and 3^rd Wednesdays of the month, Gatherings are held at the Chief Financial Credit Union.  We always welcome new members.

This Optimist Club was chartered in April 2023.  We are a 501c3, part of the Rochester Chamber of Commerce and belong to the Chambers Non-Profit PCN.

Optimist International (OI) was founded in 1919.  Their current office is in St. Louis MO.  Currently there are more than 2900 Optimist Clubs worldwide. Adult volunteers join Optimist Clubs to conduct positive service projects in their communities aimed at providing a helping hand to youth.  All Optimist are dedicated to bring out the “Best in Youth”.

The RROC needs YOUR help with their “Ongoing Beanie Baby Project”. We are always collecting gently used Beanie Babies.  If you are looking for a “home” for the gently used beanies baby that may be lying in drawers, stored in boxes or just need a new home for a variety of reason-- RROC is YOUR place. The RROC would like to gift Patti Jacques, founder of Gifts For All Gods Children, with 2000 Beanies for use with the children she serves. The organization would like to place one beanie in each Easter Basket distributed to the children they care for. 

Beanies should be clean and from smoke free/odor free environments. The special TY neck tag should still be attached to each creature.  Our members will inspect beanies before delivery. The beanies are soft for cuddling in time of stress or just because.  Kids love them.
