The E Speaker Series Announces 2026 Season Featuring Mitch Albom, David Pogue, and Scott Hamilton.

All programs will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Adams Performing Arts Center, located on the campus of Rochester Adams High School (3200 W. Tienken Road, Rochester Hills). Tickets for individual programs are $40.

The 2026 lineup includes:
Mitch Albom — Monday, August 3, 2026
Bestselling author, journalist, and philanthropist Mitch Albom will open the season with his new book Twice. Albom’s books, including the global phenomenon Tuesdays with Morrie, have sold more than 42 million copies worldwide. He continues to impact lives through both storytelling 
and extensive philanthropic work.

David Pogue — Monday, September 21, 2026
Emmy winning CBS Sunday Morning correspondent, NOVA host, and former New York Times columnist David Pogue will present AI for the layperson, offering an engaging and accessible look at the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence. Known for his humor and clarity, Pogue makes complex topics understandable for audiences of all backgrounds.

Scott Hamilton — Monday, November 30, 2026
Olympic gold medalist Scott Hamilton will close the season with “Undefeated: How to keep fighting when the world says quit.” From overcoming childhood illness to achieving Olympic glory and founding the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation to advance cancer research, Hamilton’s story of resilience and perseverance continues to resonate with audiences worldwide.

Founded in 2024, The E Speaker Series is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to bringing thought provoking voices and meaningful conversations to the Rochester community. Organized by a group of local volunteers, the series was created with the mission of fostering personal growth and community enrichment through stories and ideas.
