Founded by Dr. Kathy Elias, an orthodontic specialist who has practiced exclusively since 2012, Shelby Orthodontics reflects more than a decade of diverse clinical experience. Dr. Kathy has served in academic roles, including as an Associate Professor at UTHealth’s Department of Pediatric Dentistry, and has worked in a range of practice settings—from small private offices to large multi-doctor specialty groups. These experiences have shaped her thoughtful, patient-focused approach and strengthened her understanding of both clinical excellence and practice operations.

“Opening Shelby Orthodontics has been an incredibly meaningful milestone,” said Dr. Kathy. “I’ve truly enjoyed becoming part of this community and creating a warm, welcoming environment where patients and families feel comfortable and cared for.”

Spacious, semi-private treatment rooms and flexible scheduling—including weekday hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and two Saturdays per month—ensure comfort and convenience for busy families.
