About
Habitat for Humanity is a movement to eliminate poverty housing by building simple, decent, affordable homes for - and with - people who need adequate housing. Since 1976, millions of Habitat for Humanity volunteers have built more than 300,000 homes for over 1 million people around the world. Habitat for Humanity came to Oakland County in 1994 and since provided affordable housing and home improvements for more than 100 families.

-One in four Habitat homeowners reports better grades in school
-One in four reports less cases of sickness
-Three out of five reports less family conflict
-Seven out of ten reports an increase in household income
