Barbara, born and raised in North East England, is ideally suited to share her favorite destinations during the trip. As a passionate cheesemonger, cheese educator, and owner of a cheese shop, she draws on her background in development chemistry to deepen her cheese expertise and enthusiastically shares this knowledge through interactive classes, seminars, events, and this curated tour.

Recently honored with the Certified Cheese Professional Certification from the American Cheese Society, Barbara is among a select group with extensive knowledge of cheese varieties, history and cheese making. She is also pursuing credentials from the British Academy of Cheese, making her exceptionally qualified to discuss all aspects of cheese. Joining Barbara on the trip is her husband Angus, a native Scot educated in Edinburgh, whose insights further enrich the tour experience.
