Modes of Fashion™ Founder Tiara Diaz Leads Student Style Session at ACE High School

Rochester Hills, MI — 4.22.26 — Tiara Diaz, founder of Modes of Fashion, recently led a Student Style Session at ACE High School, providing students with practical guidance on professional attire, wardrobe strategy, and the role of personal presentation in career readiness.

The session, delivered to members of the school’s Career Readiness Club, focused on helping students understand how clothing communicates confidence, professionalism, and intention—especially as they prepare for interviews and entry into the workforce.

“What you wear is a form of communication—it tells people who you are before you even say a word,” said Diaz. “My goal is to help students think strategically about how they present themselves, without feeling like they have to change who they are.”

During the 15–20 minute interactive session, students explored key concepts including:

• How different environments (school, work, interviews) require different levels of presentation
• How to build a functional wardrobe using a small number of versatile pieces
• How to make smart clothing decisions based on budget and lifestyle

Students also participated in guided activities that encouraged them to think critically about their wardrobe choices and how those choices align with their future goals.

The session was intentionally designed to be practical and relatable, reinforcing the idea that building a polished wardrobe does not require excessive spending, but rather thoughtful planning and understanding.

This initiative builds on the ongoing collaboration between Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce and Rochester Community Schools to provide students with real-world learning experiences that prepare them for life beyond the classroom.
