Healing Complex Kids, with support from its sponsors led by Presenting Sponsor Credit Acceptance Corporation, will host the Pathway to HOPE Wellness Walk on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Innovation Hills in Rochester Hills.
This free, family-centered event will bring together families, friends, and community members for an afternoon of walking, resources, and encouragement in support of children with special needs and learning challenges.
The event will include a scenic 1.05-mile walk, sensory-friendly activities, adaptive playground access, inclusive movement opportunities with Hoyt Running Chairs provided by The Agape Project, healthy snacks, community resources, a fire truck, and first responders.
Registered walkers will receive a Pathway to HOPE sling backpack. The first 100 families to register will receive a complimentary copy of the Pathway to HOPE Resource Guide for Special Needs.
“When people attend this walk, raise funds, or write a check, they are doing more than supporting an event,” said Julie Cadman, Co-Founder and CEO of Healing Complex Kids. “They are helping families get access to resources, guidance, and encouragement at a time when many feel overwhelmed and alone.”
Participants who choose to fund raise can earn thank-you prizes, including a $100 Dave & Buster’s PowerCard for raising $500 and a one-night stay at Bavarian Inn Lodge plus four Bavarian Blast Waterpark passes for raising $1,000.
There is no cost to attend, but advance registration is encouraged so organizers can plan for food, backpacks, and activities. After registering, participants will receive a personal fundraising link to share with friends, family, and coworkers.
Because parking at Innovation Hills fills quickly, a complimentary OPC shuttle will run between Meijer (3610 Marketplace Circle) and Innovation Hills from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
