Rochester Hills Invites the Community to Enjoy Trails of Treats at Spencer Park

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – Get those costumes ready for an afternoon of Halloween fun! The community is invited to Trails of Treats on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 12:00–3:00 p.m. at Spencer Park, 3701 John R Road.

This free, community-wide trick-or-treating stroll brings together local businesses, city departments, and community members for a festive afternoon filled with treats, costumes, music, and fall fun.

To create a welcoming experience for more families, the event will begin with a Low Sensory Hour from 12:00–1:00 p.m. During this time, organizers will provide a lower-stimulation environment with no music, strobing lights, or jump scares. Because the event takes place in a public park, perfectly controlled low-sensory conditions cannot be guaranteed, but every effort will be made to keep the atmosphere calm and comfortable.

From 1:00–3:00 p.m., the Full Festivities begin, featuring live music from the Troy School of Rock. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase throughout the afternoon from Travelin Toms Coffee and Taco Cartel.

Community businesses and organizations are also invited to join the fun as Treat Station Hosts and hand out candy to attendees. Participation is limited to 40 hosts, and applicants will receive an email if approved.

For the safety and comfort of all attendees, guests are asked to leave dogs and other furry friends at home, as large crowds and costumes can be stressful for pets.

Grab your costume, gather the family, and make plans to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon at Trails of Treats 2026!
