Rochester Writers’ Conference Guides Writers to Publication on October 18 Rochester, MI – The 18th Annual Rochester Writers’ Conference, themed “Mapping Your Author Path,” takes place Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Oakland University from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This dynamic one-day event, featuring a keynote by award-winning Michigan author Lynne Golodner, offers nearly a dozen breakout sessions with literary agents, authors, and educators. Registration is $195 until October 17, and includes morning snacks, lunch, and all-day coffee. Aspiring and seasoned writers will find inspiration through workshops, panels, and networking opportunities tailored to their goals. Sessions include “The Independent Middle-Grade Author,” “Writing to Capture and Engage Your Reader,” and “Author Branding 101.” Attendees can also book one-on-one consultations with literary agents Linda S.
