event. It’s an easy and low-cost way for businesses of all sizes to help improve the lives
of those who are blind or visually impaired while increasing employee engagement with
every customer.
With the community’s support, we have raised over $100,000 through this program.
Here’s just a sample of what donations like these help us to accomplish each year, despite
zero funding from state and federal governments:
HOW IT WORKS
Cashiers ask patrons to donate at checkout. Customers choose a donation of $1, $5,
or $20 then sign a Leader Dogs for the Blind dog tag for store display.
FUNDRAISING GOAL
We suggest a goal of at least $500, which is the amount to symbolically sponsor a puppy.
When you become a sponsor, you’ll receive a 5x7 photo suitable for framing, four wallet-size
photos to share, a puppy profile and certificate, and most importantly, the knowledge
your sponsorship will help change the life of someone who is blind or visually impaired.
