Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County Celebrates Blueprints & Blue Jean, the 12th Annual Fall Gala
Habitat Homeowners, volunteers, partners, and staff come together to honor a year of transformative impact in Oakland County.

PONTIAC, MI – Habitat Oakland will host Blueprints & Blue Jeans, the 12th Annual Fall Gala on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the M1 Concourse Event Center. The Gala will highlight Habitat homeowners, volunteers and supporters. Beginning at 6:30 pm, the event will consist of cocktails, dinner, dancing, a silent auction & a live auction with Auctioneer Gary Cannon, and much more! Evening includes appetizers and dinner provided by Andiamo Italia, accompanied by an open bar.

This year, we’re transforming our Annual Fall Gala into an event that’s a little more casual, yet equally impactful! Blueprints & Blue Jeans, the 12th Annual Fall Gala will highlight extraordinary individuals that make Habitat’s mission possible. Guests will hear real stories from Habitat homeowners, volunteers, partners, and staff about why Habitat is important to them. Among the representatives will be our Community Builder of the Year Fred Zorn, our Volunteer of the Year Jack Yee, and our Homeowner of the Year Tameka Ashmon. Those attending will develop a deeper understanding of the resources Habitat offers and honor the people who work tirelessly to ensure strength, stability, and self-reliance in Oakland County.

Habitat Oakland is proud to have many community partners sponsor this event, all who support Habitat’s vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. This year’s sponsors include Henniges, VIBE Credit Union, Pulte Homes, Nissan Group of the Americas, and Bank of Ann Arbor. Returning to this year’s event will be the “Henniges Automotive Race Track Experience” offering guests the opportunity to experience a high-speed driving experience on the award-winning racetrack at M1 Concourse.

“We are excited to gather as a community for the purpose of lighting up the lives of others, and making them stronger for generations to come by working in partnership to fulfill the mission of Habitat for Humanity, which is to build homes, communities and hope.” commented Michele Hodges, Habitat Oakland’s Executive Director and CEO.

Ticket sales for Blueprints & Blue Jeans, Habitat Oakland’s 12th Annual Fall Gala are now closed! We are grateful to our supporters and look forward to this transformative event.
